I have always been aware that our justice system is all a bunch of smoke and mirrors, but no matter how many times I see the system abused, misused, and taken advantage of- it never ceases to disgust me. The most recent being a judge, Judge Dennis Watson of County Court 1, Montgomery county, TX. Judge Watson presides over mostly civil cases, including family court. He is one of the MOST crooked and corrupt Judges I have personally come in contact with, but I am sure there are plenty more where he came from. A young girl testified, in Judge Watson's courtroom about being sexually abused as a child, around 12 years old. After, more allegations of the accused having a stockpile of child pornography, etc emerged from other sources. Judge Watson then proceeded to order that a FOUR YEAR OLD CHILD be placed with the accused, with no access to her mother or any other family members- with NO QUESTION/INVESTIGATION whatsoever. The four year old has now been living in solitude with the father/accused molester for TWO YEARS. Still, no investigation has been ordered, and the mother's rights have not been re-instated. The judge actually ordered this. What is the world coming to when a man (Judge Watson) can swear on a bible, under GOD to uphold justice, yet actually DEMAND and ORDER that a four year old child be placed alone with a man who has a history of family violence/abuse charges- even AFTER another young girl sat in his courtroom and testified TO JUDGE WATSON HIMSELF that the man had abused her as a young child (12). He constantly interrupts cases to answer his cell phone, proving once more he has NO interest in upholding the law or making a fair decision based on the facts. He is not even paying attention! I am glad I have never had to experience his lack-of-judgment calls and complete disregard for what is right, true and just according to our laws/civil rights. This kind of stuff is allowed! All day every day our tax dollars go to people that are destroying lives! There is no"boss" of these judges. They can be as ridiculous and disgusting as they please. It is a travesty and I am ashamed that it has gotten this horrible. Even the children aren't safe from the blatant ignorance of our laws and rights guaranteed to us in the constitution.
